Just a quick pop into Accessorize in Covent Garden this week as they were having a sale and there was a bit of a scrum going on so couldn't resist to take a look!

Gorgeous made easy finds and buys ;.)

• Double strand chain and ribbon hairband (Bando)  (adds an easy bit of chic to whatever you are wearing, plus practically, it keeps your hair out of your face so great of the office or a night out!) - was £8, on sale for £4
• Frech Knickers - was £6, on sale for £3

• Turquoise ceramic rose-shaped earring studs (could only find creamy ones in online shop) - were £6, on sale for £3

• 925 Sterling Silver matt finish stud earrings (look exactly like the picture below, except they are perfect circles, perfect for everyday office attire as they look sharp, modern, yet subtle) - were £4, on sale for £2

• Rock & Roll pendant necklace - £8, I know it's not on sale, but I think this is just that cool!

• Sentimental Trinket Layered Necklace - £14, I like this a lot, that's why I've posted it here, but it's not worth the full price charges

Ignite Lab | The true job of an Actor

This afternoon I happened to listen to an interview with American actor Will Smith, who is promoting his new film Seven Pounds. The conversation turned to his movie Ali, about Mohammad Ali’s life. Will Smith shared something very profound which immediately made me think about our use of Insights at Ignite.

Will Smith was talking about a scene shot in Mocambique: “four days or so before we shot that scene I’d just met Nelson Mandela and I realised the power of story. And what my job was as an actor in bringing stories to the screen is to illuminate a truth about life.

When you go and look at a story or you listen to music or anytime you take in art the greatest thing that can happen is that it expands or it changes your life. It reveals some deeply ingrained pattern or a truth about existence.

That whole time for me was huge in understanding and comprehending that I want to live my life in service to humanity.”

Gorgeous made easy Cashmere & Silk dress with ruffle detail @ Oasis

Just a quick pop in to Oasis in Covent Garden as they were having a sale and there was a bit of a scrum going on so couldn’t resist to take a look!

Found & bought ;.)

·         Cashmere & Silk dress (mosey grey colour, wear with flats and clear tights, or in winter with black tights) - £45, on sale for £35, well worth the money.

 Its also available in Turquoise on sale from £25, on sale for £20, even more worth it!

The reason I went for the mosey grey colour and not the turquoise is because I could wear I could get more use out of it. Casually during the day I can wear it with a hipster belt and flats, or with a belt under the breast for a more lady evening look.  I can add colour splashes with accessories, a cardigan, the belt, shoes, bag, you get my drift.

I love colour and its important but you need to balance an out fit. If you have one main bright item such as the blue dress then you need to have the rest o the outfit in simple colours like white, black and grey. Its not boring, its called not looking OTT (Over The Top)  J

FREDDY.it new brand discovered that is Gorgeous made easy!

Gorgeous Italian designed sportswear from FREDDY on SALE :)

 

Basically. What's happened is, my company's London branch office has moved to Shaftesbury Avenue, off New Oxford Street, 4 minutes walk to Oxford Street, 3 minutes to the heart of Covent Garden. As much as I would like to pretend I am annoyed, I really can't. I walk out of my office and MUST walk down Niel's Street in order to get to the Covent Garden Station to get home. I know dangerous right?!

 

One reason I'm not stressing is because I discovered, FREDDY.it. Its Gorgeous made easy casual/sportswear that has all the quality and style you can expect from those Italians.

 

A good move on their part when it came to this summer's sale. The lady in the shop, who looks like a ballerina by the way, told me "we decided not to mess around like other shops with pre-summer sales of 20% off, we just went for a juicy 40% OFF." - my que to look around ro a good deal ;.)

• Jumpsuit (pale florecent yellow one in photo, same supersoft lightweight material, drawsrting sits ultra low at the hips) - was £70, on sale for £40
• Best shaped leggins ever (blue grey colour, softest cotton with spandex ever, not see through so can wear with extra lond tops or shirts with belt, scrunches from mid calf down to below anckle, wraps heel of foot to look like delicate legwarmers) - was £37.50, on sale for £22.50

I'm wearing the jumpsuit with a loose caridan to work on Friday.
